What links the two largest Texas Universities to the disappearance of Laredo ATF agent, Stuart Dyson? When the investigation stalls, FBI Tracker Adrian Dillard is sent to Texas, and he’s not greeted with open arms.

Plagued by resentment from local agents, his uncanny intuition kicks into high gear when every lead ends with a dead body. Who knows more than they are telling? Is the missing agent an unwitting victim, or a deadly mastermind? And who is staying one step ahead of him?

Dyson’s fiancĂ©e, Homicide Detective Tracy Harlowe, may have the answers, but she’s not talking. The secrets the impetuous detective is hiding could very well get her killed.

A chilling discovery puts Homeland Security on high alert. Pressure mounts as the President demands answers. When Tracy disappears, Adrian knows he’s running out of time. There’s only one question left.

Who dies next?

Author Anita Dickason
Anita Dickason is an Award-Winning Author. As an avid reader, Anita has always been intrigued by characters with unexpected skills, that extra edge for overcoming danger and adversity. Adding her infatuation with ancient myths/legends of Native American Indians, and Scottish/Irish folklore creates the backdrop for her characters. With her law enforcement background, it is no surprise her novels are suspense/thrillers with a unique paranormal twist.

Anita is a retired police officer with twenty-seven years of experience, twenty-two with the Dallas Police Department. She served as a patrol officer, undercover narcotics officer, a tactical officer and sniper on the SWAT team, and finished her career as an advanced accident investigator. Many of the events and characters in her novels are based on actual experience.

Her debut fictional novel, Sentinels of the Night, set up an elite team of FBI agents, Code Name—Trackers. Each agent has that extra edge, an ability that defies reason or logic. Her second Tracker novel was Going Gone!
