About the Author

A.J. Race on Indie AuthorNews
A.J. Race started writing in 2002 at the age of eleven, at that time he knew nothing about the industry or how it worked so naturally he decided to send what he thought was a novel (fifty whole pages of a story) to Random House. He got no response from them and though he was devastated at the time it really taught him about how the publishing industry works.

A.J. Race has written probably a dozen or so stories, most of which he has tried to have published in one form or another.

He doesn't really like to think of himself as a genre author so the stories A.J. has written (and since shelved for the time being) have ranged from crime novels to Y.A. fantasy to an attempt at romance.

Bridge of Memories is the first novel in the Secrets of Witches trilogy, which was actually the second story A.J. has ever written. At the time he wrote the story he had no idea what the story would turn into, but over the next decade the story grew and changed into the tale of a young Warlock who is forced to become King after the mysterious death of his mother whom he hated.
