About the Book

When Seth Greenlaw ’s father dies, the 17-year-old needs all his determination to keep his brilliant 12-year-old brother out of foster care, and see him into college. Good thing he has plenty of it.

Gwen Hardie, the headstrong, red-haired girl next door, cooks like nobody’s business, and calls Seth her favorite ‘brother.’ Seth’s feelings for her are not brotherly, but what he wants for himself has to go on the back burner, and Gwen is sent to college in Boston. There, she finds the new life – and the opportunities – her parents want for her.

But tragedy strikes, and, heartsick and homesick, Gwen returns to Haven Point. Will Seth find the words to tell her how passionately he’s always loved her? He’s used to keeping his secret. If he does, can Gwen come to see him as something more than her best-beloved brother?

Or will the revelation wreck the closeness they both depend on?

Reviews (Excerpts)

- "A spectacular read! Ms. Kellogg’s gift for prose has long been known in her essays, and here she unleashes these gifts in creating characters and places about which the reader wants to know more and more. Her characters draw you into their lives and her depictions of life in rural Downeast Maine are authentic, compelling and come from the heart of a Mainer. I’m not usually a reader of romance novels, a la Austen, but 'Full Circle' kept me wanting more. Gorgeously written and perfectly paced." - David (Amazon)

- "[...] The story is filled with small town charm and characters who will feel like some people you've met along the way.An amazingly observant and psychologically astute writer. The narrative progresses with the robustness of a full river, the grace of a swallow-tailed kite, and the breathless precision of tight-rope walker." - S. B. Miller

- "This is remarkably well written, with a cast of interesting characters, all of whom the author is painstaking in her effort to present without stereotyping. The many subplots keep the story moving at a nice pace. [...]" - Therese (Amazon)

- "Completely charming small town story with lovely characters, all of whom will capture your heart! Ms. Kellogg has definitely represented a true Downeast experience with charm and imagination!!" - Robert French
