About the Author

Kate Policani lives in Seattle, Washington and absolutely loves this city! She writes compulsively, which means that Kate absolutely has to get the story on paper because it is whirling around in her head and needs to come out. She has more than 80 story ideas in various stages of completion on her hard drive. Usually she works on two or more stories at once. Writing is her way of working out ideas in her head, and most of Kate's work is focused around a central theme of one or two concepts that intrigues her.

Kate Policani is a true Indie Author, with a desire to share wonderful stories with everyone. She writes what she loves and without focusing too much on what she thinks people want to read or what is in demand (although she hopes she still ends up with that!).

Kate Policani published her first novel in 2011, but has been writing stories since she could write complete sentences. Somehow she managed to ignore her predilection for writing, losing it in all her other career goals, until she became a mom. Writing was the one thing that she still needed after all her other hobbies had to be set aside. Once she gave the writing free reign and a purpose, it kind of took over and now it motivates itself. Kate doesn’t go through a day anymore without writing stories or writing on her blog.
