Reviews (Excerpts)

- “This is a great Christian book to read. It shows true life experiences. Everyday ups and downs. Faith and friends and personal strength will get a person through life's storms. Once you think you have the book figured out the plot changes. I couldn't put the book down. Once you start to read it you won't either. Easy to read and well written. I look forward to reading other books by this author. ” - Dianne Rogers

- I found Summer Storms to be very interesting and it kept my attention right from the beginning. The details of the characters and the settings were written so that the reader could feel that he/she knew each person and could visualize the places. I really liked that it was a Christian based romance story with a real Florida feeling. I'm looking forward to Rebekah Lyn's next novel. ” - G. Reindl

- Rebekah Lyn has a gift for writing that wafts the reading into scene after scene where finely drawn characters are as real as the people you know. Summer Storms is a fast paced, up-to-the minute story about the burgeoning city of Orlando and those who make it a wonderful place to work, to visit, and to fall in love.” - Elizabeth Bowers

- [...] Some of the scenes in the book are quite suspenseful and full of fast-action. You won't find a boring part in Summer Storms and I was captured right from the start. An excellent read. Buy this book and help a new author and you will really be glad and enjoy this book. I recommend Summer Storms.” - Trinity Rose

Author Rebekah Lyn
Rebekah Lyn about Rebekah Lyn: "I have always loved reading, from Trixie Belden and Nancy Drew mysteries as a child, to Russian classics and travel essays as an adult. I enjoy traveling, journaling, and research so writing was a natural transition. Dozens of stories were started but never finished before I became serious about writing. It actually took an unexpected schedule change at my day job in 2002 that totally ticked me off to jump-start my writing career. I was so angry, I had to have an outlet and I began writing about a young woman who was so fed up with her job that she wanted to quit. Then, like most first books it went into a drawer.

When I decided to pursue writing, I knew that I wanted to incorporate my faith into whatever I wrote. I wanted to tell stories that would be encouraging without being predictable or sappy. Terri Blackstock is my favorite Christian author and her success writing suspenseful, romantic Christian fiction inspired me.

When I'm not busy at my day job, marketing my current books, or working on a new project, I love to bake and try out new recipes. I often find myself researching recipes for scenes in my books and can't resist testing them out myself. If they turn out well, I post the recipes on my blog. I currently live in Florida with my ferociously protective cat, Mia, but my heart is in North Carolina with my niece and nephew. When this writing thing takes off, I will move up there to be closer to them."
