J C Pereira was raised in the county of Wiltshire, educated in Lancashire England, and worked as a Civil Servant for twenty-four years.

Taking a golden opportunity for an early retirement Joseph made the decision to retrain as an English teacher to keep busy.

With time on his hands he turned to writing novels as a hobby, taking inspiration from his twenty-four year old son's love for fantasy fiction. One book led to three, with the fourth being a work in progress.
