After graduating from Iona College and Columbia Graduate of Journalism, Valentine Cardinale enjoyed a successful career as the editor of leading magazines in the advertising and pharmacy fields before deciding to write fiction.
Breakaway is his fourth novel. Val lives in New Jersey, not far from the West Side area in New York City where he grew up.
