Cindi Walton is Northern Michigan native who is married to Michael Dewater, mother to two grown daughters Candi and Kristy and is Nana to William Michael and Kaleigh Jean.

She is founder of Sock Monkey Nation (www.sockmonkeynation.com), a kindness and anti-bullying program for young children.

Cindi spends her time in the company of her family, writing, giving anti-bullying school presentations and frolicking with her standard poodle, Maxwell House, named after her addiction to coffee.
